The week started off with my local quilt guild meeting. I am in charge of the Block of the Month this year. We have a lot of participation and here is last month's block.

I am at the annual
Pie Plate Patterns Super Spring retreat! It is a blast! Upstairs in the open sew area Sandy pulled out this project to work on. It was from a class I taught in 2011 at the Quilt Walk festival!

I completed the quilting yesterday. I was able to get it trimmed and today it will get its binding.

| Birthday cake! |
Yesterday was my birthday. My dear friend Helen brought a delicious almond cake for me! Everyone sang to me! It was very special! I love these wonderful women! I am glad that I was able to come to this retreat and visit with my good friends.
