Last month at the Utah Quilt Guild's Quilt Fest I helped with Orphan night. Everyone donated their orphan blocks and then we sorted them into coordinated bundles. At the event, groups of people took the bundles and made tops. There were tubs of fabrics that could be used for fillers. Fun times!

ReplyDeleteAn orphan party- what a fabulous idea! It looks like so much fun- and pretty instant gratification, using blocks already made. You can scratch the creativity itch right away. And each quilt looked so nice- I bet you had a hard time deciding which one to put in the linky picture!
ReplyDeleteLooks like a really fun time! And a great way to whip up some fun quilts quickly. Thanks for sharing on MCM!
