I loved the large, funky floral appliques! |
I have always loved these blocks. I have 2 ufo sets of them. Well, maybe 3 sets. |
Someone had a good sense of humor! |
Reminds me of a Water Polo quilt I did years ago for my daughter. |
Sandra's Cheddar Mini. |
The quilting really highlighted the print in the center of each block. |
Another quilt by Sandra Starley. |
Very vibrant colors. |

I love that she entered this quilt even though it wasn't finished! |
Love the graphic design of this one. |

My favorite of the show! |
Sweetie took me to Moab to attend the quilt show that the local guild is hosting. We had gone about 5 years ago and thought it would be fun to go again. Moab quilters do a great job of putting on a small town show. They had more vendors than last time and quite a nice selection of quilts in the show. They were also hosting a couple of classes, but I did not sign up for them because I didn't think we could get there in time. Which was good because the drive took longer than usual due to a snowstorm at our end of the road.
I saw several people that I knew and really had a good time. Sweetie took the puppies and went on a hike. We stopped at the local quilt shop and then the nice yarn shop. I bought some hand-spun yarn. The wool is grown locally. It is going to make a wonderful cowl.
This is my off the wall post for the week. Check out what everyone else is doing at
Nina-Marie's blog.
Also check out my
previous post, I am having a giveaway for the Beat the Winter Blues blog hop party!
Hi, Sylvia. Thanks for the quilt show photos. Very enjoyable to see the variety and creativity. I especially like the last two. Such wonderful colors.
